Early Years Learning Box and crew visit to reception
This is an extremely popular part of our programme and as a result there is currently a delay for visits in some areas. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
We believe successful fire prevention starts at an early age.
Our Early Years fire safety provision for reception includes a learning box full of engaging and age-appropriate activities delivered to you. This will be followed by a visit from the crew of your local fire station.
Children will learn:
- Anyone can work for the fire service
- Firefighters are friendly and like to help people
- Fire is hot
- 999 is the emergency number
During the crew visit, children will learn key safety messages from firefighters from their local fire station, look around a fire engine and use a fire hose.
All our sessions can be adapted to meet the needs of children and young people with additional needs.
This session is not suitable for children in a nursery or pre-school setting.
Make a booking enquiry
Please note that all of our crews are operational and may be required to attend an emergency at any time. This may impact their ability to arrange and attend school visits.
Due to the popularity of the visits there is currently a delay in some areas. Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
If you would like to book, please complete our Early Years enquiry form and a crew member will be in touch to discuss your sessions.
