What do Care groups do?

Care groups work with the Care Team and services in Surrey. They help make sure young people’s voices are heard and that they help shape the support they get.

Care council juniors (ages 7 to 12)

This group meets once a month. You can have fun, be creative, make friends and share ideas about how to improve services for care experienced children and young people.

Care council (ages 13 to 16)

We have events and activities throughout the year. These include prepping for independence, workshops and days out.

Care leavers forum (ages 16 to 25)

This group also meets monthly. You can socialise, share their views and help make services better. It’s a great way to make friends and get support.

You can also help improve services and take part in paid opportunities during the year. Get your voice heard!
