Elysian Creative Connection Sessions for Home-Educated Children

Description

Elysian animal-assisted therapy and learning is running a new programme called Creative Connections. It is designed for home-educated children and young people aged 6 -16, who are looking to build social skills, explore creative outlets, and develop valuable life skills in a fun, supportive environment. Sessions run every Tuesday afternoon at its Froxfield site near Petersfield, which offers ample space for both indoor and outdoor activities. Each two-hour session focuses on a theme starting with Creativity and Animal Connections.

Young people will participate in a range of hands-on activities, including animal care, outdoor learning, art projects, and practical skill-building, all tailored to their individual interests. For those less inclined toward art, options like animal treat-making and nature crafts are available, ensuring a fulfilling experience for everyone.

The programme runs from 1pm to 3pm on Tuesdays from January 2025. To find out more please visit their website.
