Coronavirus: Important information

Notice of marriage and civil partnership will continue to be carried out by face-to-face appointments at Guildford, Leatherhead and Weybridge Register Offices.

Marriages and Civil Partnerships can now take place with a legal limit of fifteen attendees (this maximum number includes the couple, witnesses and guests, which includes children and babies, but does not include those working, such as registration officials, venue managers or photographers etc.) These maximum numbers are dependent on the size of the ceremony room and the number of people that can be socially distanced 2m apart.

Application for a licence to hold Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies in the premises listed below have been received in accordance with the Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005.

A copy of the applications and accompanying plans may be inspected during office hours. Please contact us to make an appointment.

Any person wishing to object to the granting of a licence must write within 21 days of publication of this notice, quoting the name of the venue and stating the reason for their objection. Letters should be addressed to:
