Coronavirus: Important information
Notice of marriage and civil partnership will continue to be carried out by face-to-face appointments at Guildford, Leatherhead and Weybridge Register Offices for couples that have a ceremony booked in the next three months.
Further to the Prime Minister's announcement of the national lockdown starting on 5 January 2021, marriages and civil partnerships cannot take place except in exceptional circumstances, for example where one of those getting married is seriously ill and not expected to recover ('deathbed wedding') or due to undergo debilitating treatment or life-changing surgery. These exceptional circumstance weddings are limited to six people.

Application for a licence to hold Civil Marriage and Civil Partnership ceremonies in the premises listed below have been received in accordance with the Marriages and Civil Partnerships (Approved Premises) Regulations 2005.
A copy of the applications and accompanying plans may be inspected during office hours. Please contact us to make an appointment.
Any person wishing to object to the granting of a licence must write within 21 days of publication of this notice, quoting the name of the venue and stating the reason for their objection. Letters should be addressed to:
