Coronavirus: Important information
Notice of marriage and civil partnership will continue to be carried out by face-to-face appointments at Guildford, Leatherhead and Weybridge Register Offices for couples that have a ceremony booked before 30 June 2021.
Further to the Prime Minister's announcement of 22 February 2021, marriage and civil partnership ceremonies cannot take place before 29 March 2021, except in exceptional circumstances. Restrictions on marriages and civil partnerships will start to be eased from 29 March 2021.

Paying your fees
Ceremony fees are subject to change on the 1 April each year. You will be required to pay the fee that is applicable for the date of your ceremony. All ceremony fees will be payable in full at the time of booking. Marriage and Civil Partnership certificate fees are set by central Government and are subject to change at any time.
The total cost of your marriage or civil partnership ceremony is made up of the following fees:

We also offer a 14 day cooling off period, whereby you are entitled to cancel the booking without loss of prepayments.
Registrar attendance fees
You must book a registrar for a ceremony at a register office or licensed venue . You can do this up to two years before your ceremony date, once you have booked your venue.
Registrar attendance fees are dependent on the date and location of your ceremony. (The fees below include your £100 non-refundable administration fee).

Notice of marriage or civil partnership
You must give notice of marriage or civil partnership, as it is a legal requirement.
Notice of marriage or civil partnership fees are £35 for each person or if your notice of marriage or civil partnership is referred to the Home office £47 for each person.
There will be a charge for consideration of divorce/civil partnership dissolution documentation issued outside the British Isles (United Kingdom, Isle of Man or Channel Islands):
- £50 if the documents can be cleared by the superintendent registrar at the local register office, or
- £75 if the documents require referral to the General Register Office (GRO).
