There are four community Substance Misuse Teams that cover adults in Surrey. The community teams cover assessment, counselling, community prescribing, group work, Hepatitis A and B testing/vaccination and Hepatitis C testing Surrey. They are situated as follows:
The Windmill Community Drug and Alcohol Teamcovers North Surrey including Surrey Heath and can be contacted on 01932 723309.
The Acorn (Community Drug and Alcohol Team) covers Guildford and Waverley and can be contacted on 01483 450256. The Acorn team that covers Surrey Heathcan be contacted on 01276 62566.
The Respond (Community Drug and Alcohol Team) covers East and Mid Surrey and can be contacted on 01372 379739.
All three teams are part of Surrey and Borders NHS Partnership Trustand have a multi-disciplinary staffing profile including care managers employed by Surrey County Council.
Additionally, Windmill House is an in-patient detox unitcovering all of Surrey. It can be contacted on 01932 722096.
Southern Alcohol and Drug Advisory Services (SADAS)is a voluntary sector organisation that offers assertive outreach services across Surrey. Telephone: 01483 590150.
Surrey Drug Careoffers support and information to drug and alcohol users, their families and friends. Its 24 hour confidential drug helpline is 01483 300112.
The Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT)commissions services for both drug and alcohol across Surrey as well as commissioning services for young people. The DAAT employs a service user development worker who works closely with people who use substance misuse services in Surrey.

The Reintegration Team is a service designed to help people recovering from substance misuse problems across Surrey. The service provides help, support and advice in accessing employment, training and education, in addition to offering direct support services to help reintegration back into mainstream society.
