Your mobility equipment, such as wheelchairs, callipers or boots may have been supplied through your school. When you leave you will have to make new arrangements, although it is still possible to get wheelchairs and other mobility equipment free even after you have left school. You should make arrangements with your school about what will happen about equipment that was ordered or supplied through your school.
If your equipment was ordered or supplied through a hospital via the paediatric department you should ask them what will happen after you're 16.
If you have any problems, you should contact your doctor, or your occupational therapist from your local social care team.
