Thank you to everyone that responded to the consultation. This ended on 31 January 2010. Responses received after this point will not be included in the paper submitted to the Cabinet in March.

Consultation feedback will be summarised in a report to Surrey County Council's Cabinet on 2 March 2010. Specific decisions on Phase One routes will not be made until the County Council's Cabinet meeting on 18 May 2010. This allows further time to consider consultation feedback and enables Cabinet to make decisions based on actual tender prices.

At the Full Council meeting on 9 February 2010, Ian Lake Cabinet member for Transport, announced that an important revision to the timing of the School Special review could be made in advance of the March Cabinet meeting. He stated that School Special services in Phase One of the bus review will not be withdrawn from September 2010 as originally proposed. Instead, these services will continue for a further year, to September 2011. Read the full statement.
