Together in Surrey

Who do you share your county with?
Surrey is a large county, different in so many ways, from the rolling hills and suburban communities to the new builds popping up in our town centres. But our landscape isn't the only thing that is varied, do you realise how much diversity there is within your local community?
What is Together in Surrey?
Together in Surrey will be showcasing the diverse range of activities and events happening across different cultures and communities in Surrey. This information will be captured on an online calendar hosted on Surrey County Council’s website. The main aim of Together in Surrey is that it will promote diversity and encourage community cohesion by making connections and breaking down barriers within the community.
Who is involved in Together in Surrey?
Together in Surrey has been initiated by a group of Surrey organisations including Surrey County Council, district and borough councils, public sector, charitable, and community groups. But we want as many organisations and groups as possible to get involved and use the online resource.
Who can access the Together in Surrey calendar?
Everyone! We hope that residents and individual groups will all use the calendar to learn about the different things happening in Surrey.
I am part of a group, how do I get my event onto the calendar?
If you are part of a group and are holding an event that promotes diversity in Surrey, you may want to include the information in the
Together in Surrey calendar. To find out if your event or celebration can be included on this calendar visit our
Together in Surrey calendar criteria.
Once you know that your event can be included, please send your information to togetherinsurrey@surreycc.gov.uk. Remember to include all the relevant information including dates, times, location and cost. Please see our disclaimer for further information.
