Surrey 50 plus Network

50+ logo

The Surrey 50+ Network offers people over 50 the opportunity to be involved in making decisions about services in the community. The Network has over 1300 registered members who have been actively involved in decisions concerning the 50+ strategy, waste strategy, local health issues and future housing initiatives.

You can be involved in a variety of ways, either by email surveys, postal questionnaires, or by attending meetings with other members of the Network.

Surrey 50+ Network Members join as individuals and not as representatives of organisations, political parties or other agencies. If you would like to register with the Network, please send your full name and address, including your postcode, by email to: surrey50+@surreycc.gov.uk or by writing to: Surrey 50+, Freepost RRAT-HUBA-SCEH, Kingston upon Thames, KT1 2DN.

The 50+ Network is part of the Better Government for Older People programme, which recognises the value of involving people in developing services and seeks to "improve public services for older people by better meeting their needs, listening to their views and encouraging and recognising their contribution".

We have details of current and past consultations engagement activities undertaken by the county and districts.
