The Local Committee in Mole Valley is one of eleven established by Surrey County Council in April 2002 to bring its decision making closer to the communities it serves and to give communities and individuals a bigger say over decisions affecting them.
Decisions are taken on services in Mole Valley including education, social care, young people, libraries and transportation. Revenue in excess of £500,000 has been given to local voluntary organisations and projects through the Local Allocation Fund to enhance the lives of Mole Valley residents. The Committee has also supported capital projects with over £210,000 of funding.
Residents and businesses in Mole Valley can attend the meetings and may ask a question or present a petition. Agenda and report papers can be accessed online 5 days before the meeting. You can also view a copy at your local Library and the Leatherhead Help Shop. For more information or help please contact us.
