These are the school term and holiday dates for 2008/2009 to 2009/2010.

For Voluntary Aided and Foundation schools it is the school Governing Body which sets the school's term and holiday dates. Under a previous Education Committee decision Surrey Community, Controlled and Community Special Schools are able, if they so wish, to propose alternative dates to those recommended by the LEA, but these still have to be approved by the LEA as it has that statutory duty.

Please note that some schools have decided to adopt slightly different term and holiday dates to those shown here and it is therefore advisable to contact the individual school to confirm their dates.
