Surrey County Council has teamed up with MITIE to provide businesses with a total waste management solution for businesses located in these districts:

• Elmbridge
• Mole Valley
• Runnymede
• Spelthorne
• Surrey Heath
• Tandridge
• Waverley
• Woking

How your business can benefit?

Business waste disposal is governed by legislation. Smaller businesses often struggle more than larger ones to adhere to these rules. Also because of the smaller amounts of waste that they generate, there is a misconception that it is not cost effective to recycle. This is where the partnership between MITIE and Surrey County Council comes in.

The scheme will focus on supporting businesses to be smarter, greener and above all compliant with ever changing waste legislation.

They are committed to finding the most environmentally friendly disposal option for your business waste and the most responsible and financially viable option for each type of waste you produce. MITIE will always take in to consideration compliance and legislation requirements.

MITIE can provide reports on all the different types of waste collected and which disposal route each type follows, so that you can keep track of your performance and environmental impacts.

MITIE's service can make disposing of your business waste:

The advantage of this service will be that MITIE can work with your company, and together with neighbouring businesses, will be able to identify what waste streams are being generated. They can then look to group together matching waste types and dispose of them jointly, resulting in participating companies saving both time and money.
