Young archaeologists at Farnham Library

At Farnham Library, Wednesday 17 February, 10am until 11am, and 2pm until 3pm.
Budding young archaeologists are invited to join this event led by Abby Guinness, Community Archaeologist. Abby will be talking about her work and supervising mini sandpit digs, giving youngsters the chance to excavate real finds. Archaeology is a way of learning about people who lived in the past and this event will help unravel the mystery of how artifacts and remains are excavated.
Suitable for 6 to 11 year olds with a parent.
The sessions are free to take part but a ticket will be needed, available in advance from Farnham library. Tel: 0300 200 1001
