The Family Learning Co-ordinator is waiting to hear from you to discuss your ideas for activities that can be funded for family learning week 2010. We know that fun activities that bring together parents, grandparents, children and their carers can be a successful way of engaging those who do not currently participate in any sort of learning.
During this week you are encouraged to organise local events in schools, libraries, museums, sports centres and shopping malls. Any creative type of activity is encouraged. Just use your imagination!
Whatever you decide to do, the combination of fun and learning are the main ingredients for this week.
