The hunt is on to find Surrey's superstars as part of a Simon Cowell-inspired talent show - Surrey's Got Talent.
Auditions for the competition are now open and the winner will get the chance to perform on the main stage at the Celebrating Surrey Festival, which is on from 26 to 27 June 2010 at Loseley Park.
The winner will also be interviewed by Surrey Life magazine as well as Peter Gordon on the PG Breakfast Show on 96.4 Eagle Radio.
The competition is open to anyone with a unique talent, such as singing, dancing, acrobatics, magic and comedy.
Anyone that wants to take part needs to upload a clip of up to two minutes onto their You Tube page and send a link to talent@surreycc.gov.uk
Alternatively DVD copies can be sent to: Surrey's Got Talent, Surrey Arts, Westfield School, Bonsey Lane, Woking, GU22 9PR.
The deadline for entries is Wednesday 31 March 2010.
From the clips, 20 semi-finalists will be selected to have their auditions uploaded to the Surrey's Got Talent You Tube channel for the public to choose their favourite ten to go through to the final.
The ten finalists will perform at the festival on Saturday 26 June from 2pm to 3.30pm in the Euphonic tent, where a panel of judges will decide the winner, who will go on to perform on the main stage later the same day.
