Reorganise your car park

Did you know that for every car parking space converted into cycle parking, your organisation could get 6 more people onsite? For every car sharer space you will of course get two or more people people parked in at once space. This can help with both capacity issues, and free up space for clients and customers if you have a lot of people visiting each day. Read on to find out how Frimley Park Hospital have reorganised their car park to good effect.

Frimley Park Hospital

Frimley Park Hospital, because of significant parking pressure at their site, have decided to segregate their car park between standard and car share spaces. So far they have re-allocated 75 spaces, meaning that on average, an extra 100 members of staff, who don't have access to viable public transport, or live too far away to work or cycle can still get to work effectively. Frimley Park Hospital charge a reduced fee for a car share permit, and hold regular prize draws to publicise their car sharing database, which helps staff find potential car share matches.
