Apply for or renew a Blue Badge online

To apply or renew, you will need to provide:

  • your National Insurance number or Child Benefit Reference Number
  • your driving licence number, if you have one
  • a passport type photo with your name on the back
  • the number, expiry date and local authority details given on your current badge, if you have one
  • a cheque for £10 payable to Surrey County Council

Photographs should match passport standards. If you send your photo in digitally, it should be:

  • in colour
  • in .JPG or .GIF format
  • no larger than 200 KB
  • the same aspect ratio as a passport photo - where the height is 4.5cm and width 3.5cm

Once we have received your application we will get in touch if we need any more information or if we decide that you need a mobility (walking) assessment.

We will contact you to let you know whether or not your application has been successful.
