Apply for or renew a Blue Badge

To apply or renew, you can do this online and now you can also pay online.

 You will need to have:

You will be asked to provide:

  • Child reference number which is the child benefit reference number if you have one
  • Debit or credit card if you wish to pay online using the new secure payment facility.  (A payment will only be taken if your application is approved).

Once you have completed and submitted your online application you will receive an email with further instructions.  For example where and how you can send in your proof of identity, proof of address and your additional information such as a recently dated Disability Living Allowance statement.

You can check your eligibility  for a blue badge by entering your postcode this will also check to ensure which local authority will deal with your application.Once we have received your application we will get in touch if we need any more information or if we decide that you need a walking assessment.  We will contact you to let you know if your application has not been successful.  You can check the status of your application online. 

If your application is successful you will receive a blue badge along with a parking clock and a rights and responsibilities booklet.
