Blue badge scheme

The Blue Badge scheme is for drivers or passengers with severe mobility problems.

A blue badge can be used by the badgeholder in any vehicle. The scheme allows Blue Badge holders to park close to where they need to go. The scheme does not apply to off-street car parking, although most car parks do have disabled parking.

The charge for a blue badge is £10 and this applies if the badge is a new, renewal or replacement badge.

Our video explains how you can apply for a blue badge.
