Surrey Arts Visual aims to support visual arts opportunities for all ages and abilities. We work with local artists and arts organisations to increase participation and initiate projects.
We hold an extensive database of local visual artists experienced in running workshops in a variety of settings. Artists range from feltmakers, sculptors, glass artists and printmakers. Whether we manage the workshops ourselves or source the artists on behalf of other organisations, the emphasis is on creativity, inclusion and learning new skills. Children aged between 8 - 11 years benefit from working with a different visual artist each term at our Junior Art Schoolheld at the Lightbox in Woking and Painshill Park in Cobham.

To be part of the Surrey Artists database, please contact us for a Surrey Artists Database Questionnaire. Artists will receive regular emails providing details of jobs, training and events. Each February we run a Surrey Artists Network event with speakers and break-out sessions. This provides an ideal opportunity to meet other local artists, and to gain useful information and advice. We also hold termly Visual Art Advice surgeries: please contact us for advice and a form.
