Surrey Dance Collective is a new group of Surrey based artists. The group aims to support, develop and promote professional dance (artists) and practice in Surrey. Striving through continued professional development to develop and maintain best practice and high quality dance experiences for professionals, participants and audiences. Creating a dance ecology that supports Surrey based dance professionals to achieve excellence through networking, feedback, space, mentoring, skills sharing and performance projects.

Surrey Dance Collective would also like to invite you to weekly professional technique classes on Thursdays 10-11.30am at Surrey Arts, cost £1. This will be led by members of the Collective in three week blocks, any member can put their name down to lead class and for those who would like to gain confidence and experience of teaching the opportunity to work with other artists, for example delivering short sections within the class. Guest artists will also be invited to take classes.

Surrey Dance Collective is open to all interested professional dance artists working or living in Surrey and we would love you to be part of it.
