Professional Development for Dance Artists

Interaction

Interaction is a programme of development opportunities for dancers to develop their skills as both artists and teachers of dance. The programme is delivered by The Dance Movement who work with a range of partners to provide weekly classes, one-off workshops and performance opportunities.

1 day Training Session for Dance Artists in Street Dance and Hip Hop skills: Friday 28 October 2011, 11am-4pm, Farnham Maltings (Tindle Studio), Bridge Square, Farnham, GU9 7QR

1 day Development Session for Dance Artists: Xmas Creative Refresher: Monday 19 December 2011, 11am-4pm, Farnham Maltings (Tindle Studio), Bridge Square, Farnham, GU9 7QR

Cost: FREE we do not charge artists but ask, that if you are able, you contribute a donation. Suggested donation £5 - £15.

Weekly Technique Classes in Contemporary Dance: Tuesdays 20 September -18 October and 1 November-6 December, 8-9.30pm, Farnham Maltings (East Wing Studio), Bridge Square, Farnham, GU9 7QR
Cost: £5 per week

Just Jhoom! Dance-Fitness Certification Course

Monday 24 and Tuesday 25 October – Surrey Sports Park, Guildford, Surrey
The syllabus and instructor training programme are the first of their kind for this dance style and aim to set a benchmark for proficiently run, enjoyable classes that will appeal to people of all ages and fitness levels.

Ideally, you need to have a dance or fitness qualification or relevant movement based teaching experience – we understand that excellent teachers will come from a variety of backgrounds – so please do contact us to discuss your suitability.
