Surrey has over 5,700 VCFS organisations that benefit from infrastructure support to enable them to remain strong, efficient and effective in meeting the needs of Surrey residents. The County Council is keen to ensure the right support is in place to enable the sector to thrive.
The commissioning framework has been co-produced over many months with the VCFS, Surrey Compact, partners in Districts and Boroughs, NHS Surrey and service users. The appendix that accompanies the document gives a flavour of the amount of time and effort that has gone in to ensuring the framework is appropriate and flexible to meet the different needs of all stakeholders.
The consultation on the framework (attached below) runs until 29 June to allow a further opportunity for partners to input and comment. Please do provide your views by responding to the questions in the document.
