Learning opportunities in libraries

There are many online learning options available through your local library, whether you are completely new to computers, looking to make the most of the internet or develop other skills:

Learning Resources

This is a summary of learning opportunities available including the Learn My Way website, which has simple guides and support for:

  • computer basics
  • internet basics

As well as courses on:

  • social networking
  • finding a job online and applying for a job online (including writing a cv) ...and much more!

You can access all these courses for free at your local library and also from your computer at home.

Learn Online Basics

Twenty-five libraries in Surrey offer free introductory computers and internet training. We do use Learn My Way's online courses but there is always someone on hand to help you.
