Try some useful websites with family history links and helpsheets.

You will be guided through some useful online indexes including our Surrey History Centre's catalogue.

Discover what Ancestry and Find My Past have to offer, free to use in libraries from our online reference shelf.

Look at the 1881 and 1901 censuses and find out what other records are now available online.

This event is for those who have never tried using the web for family history research. However, you should be able to use a mouse and keyboard. If you need to learn these skills book onto one of our computer taster sessions.

Tickets can also be bought in person from any of the participating libraries.

This event, including factsheets, costs £5 for Family History workshops and £8 for We Will Remember Them.

You do not need to be a member of the library to take part.
