The purpose of this protocol is to facilitate the exchange of information in order to work together within Community Safety Partnerships(CSPs) to develop and implement strategies and tactics for crime and disorder reduction, tackling substance misuse and reducing offending in Surrey.
Each agency that is signed up to the protocol must meet the legal obligations that cover sharing personal information and certain types of depersonalised information. The Chief Officer or Data Controller for each agency, as defined by the Data Protection Act, must sign the authorised signatory form. Each agency must make sure they are correctly registered with the Information Commissionerto share appropriate information under this protocol.
