New website to boost apprenticeships and bolster business

Cabinet Member Denise Le Gal

A new website is being launched to boost apprenticeships and bolster firms' chances of winning public sector contracts in Surrey.

Supply2Surrey aims to match firms with apprentice hopefuls and list contracts on offer from Surrey County Council, the 11 district and borough authorities and Surrey Police.

The launch of the site is being spearheaded by the county council as part of its drive to stimulate economic growth.

Plans were revealed during Surrey's council tax announcement to invest £750,000 in 500 apprenticeships next year.
