Residents are being urged to fill in their 2011 census forms, as the nation's biggest survey gets under way.
Census forms should be submitted, by post or online, around 27 March 2011.
The census, which is organised by the Office for National Statistics (ONS) every 10 years, will provide Surrey County Council with valuable information that will allow funding and public services to be effectively targeted.
The detailed data collected will be used by government to get an accurate picture of the UK population to enable it to provide effective services. The information will be kept confidential for 100 years
Residents can contact the census helpline on 0300 0201 101 or on 18001 0300 0201 160 for text relay. Help can also be found online at the 2011 Census website.
