Important dates for primary admissions

• 1 September 2011 - online admissions open.
• 15 January 2012 - closing date for applications.
• 18 April 2012 - outcome letters sent by first class post to parents who applied on paper and to parents who applied online and who cannot be offered their first preference school.
• 18 April 2012 - email sent during the evening to parents who applied online giving the outcome of their application.
• 18 April 2012 -parents who applied online can log on to their application during the evening to view the outcome of their application.
• 2 May 2012 - parents must accept or decline their offer of a school place.
• 18 May 2012 - admissions appeals must be lodged by this date.
• June-July 2012 - target date for all appeals lodged by 18 May to be heard.

Important dates for secondary admissions

• 1 September 2011 - online admissions open.
• 21 October 2011 - We strongly recommend that you submit your application by this date, as this is the Friday before the half term holiday. However, applications received by 31 October 2011 will be accepted.
• 1 March 2012 - outcome letters sent by first class post to parents who applied on paper and to parents who applied online and who cannot be offered their first preference school.
• 1 March 2012 - email sent during the evening to parents who applied online giving the outcome of their application.
• 1 March 2012 - parents who applied online can log on to their application during the evening to view the outcome of their application.
• 16 March 2012 - parents must accept or decline their offer of a school place.
• 30 March 2012 - admissions appeals must be lodged by this date.
• May-June 2012 - target date for all appeals lodged by 30 March to be heard.
