September 2013 admissions

Please note that the closing dates for admission for September 2013 have now passed, further details are availabe on our web page how to apply for a school place.

Waiting lists

Each school is required to maintain a waiting list until the end of December 2013. Waiting lists will be maintained according to the admission criteria for the school. However different schools may have different processes regarding adding children to their waiting lists.

  • Children's names will automatically be added to the waiting lists for Community and Voluntary Controlled schools if they were named as a higher preference to the school that has been offered. Parents can contact the Surrey Schools and Childcare Service on 0300 200 1004 to find out about waiting lists positions. Please note primary waiting lists will be available from Wednesday 15 May 2013.
  • Information regarding the waiting lists for the following Academies and Trust schools is also available from the Surrey Schools and Childcare Service on 0300 200 1004. For each of these schools children's names will be automatically added to the waiting list if they were named as a higher preference to the school that has been offered.

Secondary: George Abbot School, Rodborough, Rydens Enterprise School & Sixth Form College, The Matthew Arnold School, Warlingham School and Woolmer Hill School

Primary: Broadmere Community Primary School, Burhill Community Infant School, Chandlers Field Primary School, Danetree Junior School, Goldsworth Primary School, The Orchard School, The Raleigh School and South Farnham School

  • For other Academies and Foundation, Trust and Voluntary Aided schools, parents should contact the school directly regarding waiting lists. Many schools will automatically place children's names on the waiting list if the school was named as a higher preference to the school that has been offered. However, some schools require parents to request that their child's name is added to the waiting list. For these schools parents will only be able to add their child's name to a waiting list, if they have made an application through their home Local Authority.
