Countryside - Get active outdoors

Surrey has some of the UK's most beautiful countryside, so there's plenty of opportunity for horse riding, cycling or walking.

If you're really keen to get stuck in, then there are plenty of opportunities to volunteer on a range of countryside management projects.

If you're interested in volunteering, be sure to check out the Do-It website.

Surrey Wildlife Trust gives loads of information about wildlife in the county, and tells you about volunteering opportunities. If you fancy doing some hands-on work, they often arrange work parties to help maintain woodland areas and ponds.
