Is there any financial help available for childcare?

Paying for childcare can be expensive but there are a number of ways you can reduce the costs. Many families are eligible for some financial assistance through child tax credit and working tax credit. The amount you receive will depend on your circumstances.

You may also be able to get financial help with childcare in the form of childcare vouchers through your employer. Depending on the organisation you work for childcare vouchers can be offered to you as part of a flexible benefit scheme, a salary conversion option or directly as a benefit.
