Waste Transfer Stations

There are four Waste Transfer Stations situated adjacent to four of the Community Recycling Centres. These are sites that have a weighbridge, which is used to weigh vehicles bringing commercial or trade waste to the site so that a charge can be made for its disposal.

These four waste transfer stations are operated by SITA Surrey. If you have any queries regarding the types of materials you are allowed to bring and the charges this will incur please contact them.

If you are a householder, you will be directed to a Waste Transfer Station only when you want to dispose of construction / house improvements waste in quantities larger than an amount that would fit in a car and therefore will need to pay a charge. Contact SITA Surrey to find out charging rates.
