Charlton Lane is one of three facilities with a weighbridge that is used to weigh vehicles bringing commercial or trade waste to the site so that a charge can be made for its disposal.

Opening Hours

Winter (1 October - 31 March)

• Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 4.15pm
• Weekends from 9.00am until 4.15pm

Summer (1 April - 30 September)

• Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 5.15pm
• Weekends from 9.00am until 4.45pm

Bank holidays

All of the Community Recycling Centres operate normal opening times on bank holidays, except for closures on -

• Christmas Day
• Boxing Day
• New Years Day
