The Aggregates Recycling Joint DPD for the Minerals and Waste Plans was adopted by Full Council at their meeting on the 12 February 2013.

The Surrey Minerals Plan Core Strategy and Primary Aggregates Development Plan Documents (DPDs) were adopted by Surrey County Council at its meeting of 19 July 2011. A Government Planning Inspector examined the documents and concluded that they were 'sound' subject to some changes, further details and both adopted plans can be found on the adoption webpage.
The Council is required to provide a document showing how environmental considerations have been taken into account in the production of DPDs. There have been a number of consultations during the preparation of the minerals plan that have informed preparation. All of the consultation documents and the responses received are available to be viewed on the Surrey Minerals Plan consultations page.

Information on progress of the plan can also be viewed through email updates which were issued during the production of the plan. The current Core Strategy DPD 2011 supersedes the Surrey Minerals Local Plan 1993.
