Your North area team

Area Manager Dodd

Area Manager: Les Dodd

An area manager leads and supports the area team to achieve safer communities through delivery of appropriate prevention, protection and response services, whilst meeting the different needs and expectations of the community.

The area manager takes ultimate responsibility for the performance of the various groups and teams that make up and report to him/her and in driving improved standards of delivery. This role also provides operational cover as required to meet the needs of the Service’s Incident Command System.

As a key member of the area management team the main role of a group manager is to support the area manager in creating safer communities.
They take responsibility for the development and performance of the various groups and teams that make up and report to the area management team and in driving improved standards of service delivery. Group managers also provide operational cover as required meeting the needs the Service's Incident Command System.
