Waverley borough team

The Waverley area covers approximately 34,517 hectares and is predominantly a residential borough. It has approximately 20km of the River Wey running through, has no motorway and 25.51km of rail. The District has five fire stations:

The local area office for the borough is based in Farnham and deals with fire safety enforcement issues as well as offering advice to businesses and members of the public on general safety issues. Residents in the borough can request a home fire safety visit.

The objectives for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service's Waverley Borough Team for 2011-2012 is to decrease instances within the following areas, by way of focused Community Safety Activities:

  • Accidental Dwelling Fires,
  • Road Traffic Collisions,
  • Unwanted Calls, and
  • Arson.
