Tandridge borough team

The Tandridge area covers approximately 24,819 hectares and is predominantly a residential borough. It covers 23.18km of the M23 and M25 motorways and 42.70km of rail. The District has three fire stations:

The local area office for the borough is based in Leatherhead and deals with fire safety enforcement issues as well as offering advice to businesses and members of the public on general safety issues. Residents in the borough can request a home fire safety visit.

The objectives for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service's Tandridge Borough Team for 2011-2012 is to decrease instances within the following areas, by way of focused Community Safety Activities:

  • Accidental Dwelling Fires,
  • Road Traffic Collisions,
  • Unwanted Calls, and
  • Arson.
