Surrey Heath borough team

The Surrey Heath area covers approximately 9,509 hectares and is predominantly a residential borough. It covers 13.61km of the M3 motorway and 16.62km of rail. The District has two fire stations:

The local area office for the borough is based in Woking and deals with fire safety enforcement issues as well as offering advice to businesses and members of the public on general safety issues. Residents in the borough can request a home fire safety visit.

The objectives for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service's Surrey Heath Borough Team for 2011-2012 is to decrease instances within the following areas, by way of focused Community Safety Activities:

Accidental Dwelling Fires,
Road Traffic Collisions,
Unwanted Calls, and
Arson.
