Our channel strategy
What is a Channel Strategy?
Channels are the means by which:
- public services are delivered to the public
- the public has contact with the authority, such as via telephone, online, in person, or any other method.
We have a responsibility to provide excellent services to the public and value for money to the taxpayer. These channels are a critical part of public service provision, and we continuously strive for them to be managed effectively and efficiently for everyone.
The Channel Strategy is our plan for the channels we will use to deliver services to, and interact with, our customers. It is not simply a plan to move service provision to online channels, but explains how we will meet your contact requirements using the resources we have available.
