Business start up loans for young people

WSX Enterprise has been awarded a contract to deliver business Start-up Loans for Young People as part of the Government’s pilot programme.The loans are flexible with an average of £2500 available, although amounts can be more or less than this. Anyone aged 18-30 years old can apply through the WSX Enterprise online application process and repayments can be spread over as long as 5 years depending on the needs of the new business. Interest on the loan is fixed at 6%. Furthermore, each applicant is assigned a business mentor to help refine the business idea and give support to launch the new business. The BBC Business News reported on this story on 3 January 2013.
