Asbestos disposal for businesses

Asbestos is a hazardous substance that must be disposed of safely. It cannot be disposed of in non-hazardous landfilll sites.

There is a useful section within the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) web site www.hse.gov.uk/asbestos/campaign/duty.htm,where business owners can find out more about the most appropriate method of dealing with an asbestos situation that fully complies with regulations, ensures maximum safety for both the business and its employees and protects any organisation from litigation.
