Outdoor learning courses

Surrey's Summer of Adventure 2009

Day camps for 8-16 year olds. Days run from 9.30am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday. Based at one of our three outdoor activity centres, please see activity for details of which centres they are available. For more information on each of the courses, follow the links below.

Sailing

We run Royal Yachting Association Youth Sailing Scheme accredited courses using fully qualified instructors in our fleets of Magno, Pico and Taz dinghies.

Paddling

As a British Canoe Union centre we use fully qualified instructors to deliver the PaddlePower scheme, we provide both a beginner and an advanced course each week of the holidays.

Multi-activity

These courses provide an opportunity to experience the majority of activities on offer at each of our centres.

Climbing

If you are new to climbing or a seasoned pro we have a course for you, we will be taking you to a variety of locations around the County.

Archery

This course should hit the target, practice your aim, develop your skills and learn more about this ancient sport.

Mountain biking

Bring your own or use one of ours, these courses will take you to new places around the County while developing your riding skills.

Woodland adventure

Learn to survive in the wild, hone your cooking skills in the outdoors or build things from the stuff you find in any wood, we have the course for you.

Advanced Home Guard Course

Are you a brave new recruit, willing to join in with the drill, camouflage techniques, concealment exercises and weapons training required to become a Home Guard?
