Cycle guides

The eight guides forming the Surrey Cycle Guides are a set of maps showing the location of cycling facilities, recommended cycling routes and rights of way where you are legally allowed to cycle. They will help you plan your cycle journey whether it is for work or for leisure. The selected routes are those used by local cyclists on a regular basis and as such can be considered to be the best that are currently available. The off-road routes are also graded according to ease of use.

The map below shows how the county is split up. The following table will help you identify which guide(s) you will need:

To request your copy of a guide inform our Contact Centre or provide your details with the feedback form giving your address and which of the maps you require.

Some of the guides are out of stock and we are investigating ways to finance more copies. In the mean time you can view all the cycle routes on our interactive map (see below) which includes an option for printing. You will need to zoom in at your chosen location in order to display a suitable map for printing. Click on 'Key to Displayed Layers' in order to find out the meaning of the displayed routes.
